Dear Residents,
Traditionally, the holidays are a time to give thanks. So I’d like to say “thank you” for the honor and privilege of serving you and our Village as your mayor.
On behalf of the trustees, staff, our police officers and myself, we all remain committed to preserving and enhancing Brookville —and keeping our Village as the very best place to live.
As 2024 comes to an end, we are excited to see what we can accomplish together in the New Year — 2025. This is the time of year when I reflect on the past and ramp up efforts to prepare for the future. In thinking about this past year, I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge you — our residents.
As your mayor, I am continuously in awe of the compassion and generosity of the people who live here. I thank you for your contributions of time and expertise, including our Trustees, all of whom work on a volunteer basis.
As we turn the page from 2024 to 2025, next year’s planning for our Village is already well underway. I’m pleased to announce that now, for the 11th year in a row, we anticipate NO TAX RATE INCREASE for residents.
I think you’ll find the Winter Newsletter packed with good information. (To get a quick overview of some of our many achievements in 2024, take a look at P6.)
This is my 30th year living in Brookville. On behalf of my wife Cherie, my family, and myself, I wish you the happiest of holidays and the best of health for the year ahead.
